In the first quarter of 2023, the country's newly added hydropower grid-connected capacity was 2.71 million kilowatts, including 1.21 million kilowatts of conventional hydropower and 1.5 million kilowatts of pumped hydropower storage. As of the end of the first quarter of 2023, the country's cumulative installed hydropower capacity reached 415 million kilowatts, including 368 million kilowatts of conventional hydropower and 46.99 million kilowatts of pumped hydropower. In the first quarter of 2023, the national hydropower generation capacity was 203.5 billion kilowatt hours, and the national average hydropower utilization hours was 544 hours.
